History

The Peabody Museum published its first home page in May of 1995. Since then we have created and published home pages for all of the Harvard Museums. The initial home page content and images for each museum were taken from a publication entitled Treasures of Art and Science at Harvard University. This effort provided the first internet presence for all Harvard museums. By 2006, each of the Harvard museums had developed their own web sites.

The current website was created in 2009.
