## About the Visiting Dance Innovators Program

The Visiting Dance Innovators Program (VDIP), co-presented by [Theater, Dance & Media](https://tdm.fas.harvard.edu/) and [Harvard Dance Center](https://ofa.fas.harvard.edu/dance), brings exemplary dance artists and scholars to campus for a multi-pronged engagement around the expansive innovations in Dance Studies, embodied research, and artistic methods of practice. VDIP builds bridges for university partnerships creating cross-disciplinary connections, illuminating the relevance of Dance Studies.

On campus activities include a movement-based workshop in the artist’s practice and methodologies, an artist-led conversation, and a visit to curricular course(s). The program also includes a virtual panel discussion bringing together all VDIP artists, led by Theater, Dance & Media faculty and Interim Head of Dance Laura Rodriguez (LROD), fostering reflection, continued dialogue, and shared narratives between communities.
