Latin American Communities

The Peabody Museum works with Harvard and local groups, including the The David Rockefeller Center for Latin America Studies and area Consulates to develop programs that complement the Museum's extensive Latin American Collections.

The Museum hosts regular lectures, events, and exhibitions that explore the cultures and history of Latin America, especially Central America and Mexico.

The Museum's annual Weekend of the Americas explores topics in North and Central American studies, and the popular Day of the Dead event, each November, celebrates this annual Mexican holiday with a family fest and evening fiesta.
