The Peabody Museum cares for an extensive collection from the Philippines—including over 8,000 ethnographic and photographic materials. While there are no items currently on public display, the collections are available for students and Filipino communities to visit and engage with at the museum.

Dr. Ingrid Ahlgren, Curator of Oceanic Collections at Harvard's Peabody Museum, will provide an overview of the Philippines collections in the care of the museum, and talk about opportunities to be involved in their care and use. Join this informational Zoom event to learn more about the history of these collections and a related upcoming online exhibition. Participants will be able to ask questions and engage in conversation about the ongoing care of the collections.
